DETERCYL is a basic solution that, in addition to having excellent cleaning properties, also acts well against heavy metals, favouring flocculation.

Chlorine is not present in this solution, as it is produced by the portion of cathodic cell in which there are no negative ions (anions) including chlorine.

As can be seen from the table, the main compounds that develop within the reactor are sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water).
Alkaline DETERCYL has a pH between 11 and 13: it can be used for flocculation (e. g. heavy metals), coagulation, washing, extraction.
Alkaline DETERCYL is also used to wash wounds as a replacement for iodine and in all those applications where it is necessary to increase the pH level of the water to be treated.
