ECO ionizer

The ECO ionizer has been designed to purify and activate tap water through a special electrolytic process.
The treated water is purified and, if the parameters are not within the limits, it is brought to the levels recommended by the WHO (World Health Organisation).
ECO is able to eliminate all water bacteria and viruses in a matter of seconds and reduces heavy metals to European safety levels without altering most of the beneficial minerals.


 


The special reactor (patented) is designed in such a way as to ensure separation between the two water flows in the anodic and cathodic chambers. The separation is achieved thanks to a special ultra-filtering ceramic diaphragm composed of zirconium, yttrium and aluminium oxide which allows the migration of ions between anode and cathode, but not water molecules.


In the vicinity of the electrodes the electrical intensity reaches 100,000 to 10,000,000 Volt/cm. This guarantees high quality purification.
At the end of the treatment, the water purified by ECO units acquires extremely effective biocide properties; in fact, the water is saturated with highly active oxidizers in fractions of a second: HOCI, ClO2, ClO2-, ClO2-, O3, O2, H2O2, OH-, HO2-.
Depending on the mineralization and speed of water flow, their concentration can vary between 1,5-2 and 15 mg/L.

The processes of direct electrolytic oxidation (on the electrode surface) and electro-catalytic oxidation ensure the destruction of organic impurities and the demolition of microorganisms.
. The final products of the total oxidation of all organic matter (including phenols) are generally harmless, mostly consisting of carbon dioxide and water.

Effectiveness of purification

The ECO treated water is free of bacterial load, heavy metal ions are neutralized and dangerous organic substances have been eliminated.
There is also a satisfactory removal of nitrates and nitrites, a satisfactory increase in the amount of dissolved oxygen in water and an excellent dispersion of hydrogen bonds, which increases the biocide power.


Properties of treated water from ECO units

Unlike most ionizers, ECO units do not waste water because they recirculate the acidic part that would normally be thrown away.
This is a reduction in water waste, which in many cases is up to 30%.
This advantage results in the lack of user control of the pH and ORP value of the treated water.
However, the values made available by ECO treatment are those optimal for human water intake.
More specifically, the purified alkaline water has a pH value increased by one unit with respect to the pH value of the incoming water and an ORP value (oxidation-reduction potential) decreased by -400mV with respect to the ORP value from the incoming water.
Therefore, for example, if the tap water in the mains water has a pH = 7.5, the water leaving the ECO 120 unit will have a pH of 8.5. If the water coming out of the tap has an ORP=+100mV, the water coming out of the ECO 120 unit will have an ORP=-300mV value.
Electrolytic treatment also reduces the size of water clusters from 12-16 molecules to 5-7 molecules and the treated water is easier to assimilate from the body.

Why drink ionized water from ECO units?

Any unsuccessful chemical reaction produces a large number of free radicals.
The reductive oxide potential is the body's ability to counteract free radicals, almost always with positive potential and annihilate them in the bud.

The interstitial liquid is the substance in which all the cells of the organism with the most diverse functions are immersed.
The interstitial fluid is continuously fed through the nutritional supply carried out by the blood and exchanges ions present inside it with those present in the cells themselves through the process of osmosis through the cell membrane.
. The interstitial liquid of each individual has three different indices that characterize it: pH, electrical resistance and ORP (the system's reductive oxide potential). In order for this liquid to provide all the necessary elements for the correct functioning of cells, it is necessary for the body to introduce healthy air and live in a good microclimate.
The efficiency of the fluid-cell exchanges ensures that cells with some major dysfunction are eliminated and that important diseases are avoided.
The pH must always be alkaline in order to have an optimized system that does not allow the development of pathogenic bacterial flores or other dangerous reactions.

Infections and diseases begin to occur when the pH becomes acidic.


              Adequate electrical resistance contributes to an adequate passage of electromagnetic pulses regulating cellular functions while the ORP (the reduction oxide potential) is the most important factor, in fact it counteracts the onset of free radicals that constitute real wandering mines.
Free radicals can be combined with DNA by creating genetic information in dyscrasy with the body. The larger the electronegativity of the reductive oxide potential, the more the body will be able to counteract free radicals and make them harmless before they create health problems.
The ORP value, i. e. the value of the reducing oxide potential, expresses the amount of energy present in the water by the number of electrons contained. It is a value expressed in millivolts and drinking water should have an ORP value of at least -100 mV.

However, the healthier water has values between -250 and -400 mV.
The water that we generally have available at the tap has an ORP value that remains quite high, between +250 mV and +300 mV. For this reason, it is advisable to adopt a water ionizer for domestic use that makes the water healthier.
Last but not least, there is the importance of the size of water molecules clusters.


Water molecules do not move alone but in clusters of several molecules (16 to 32)
. As a result, they are of a certain size that limits their mobility and the ability of the tissues to absorb them.
When the water enters the reactor, thanks to the action of the electric field, its clusters are broken and their composition is reduced to 5-7 molecules; this allows the ionized water to be absorbed in only 2 minutes compared to the traditional 20 of the untreated water.
